Hi! My name is Givan; 3rd year at SFU in the faculty of Health Science [BA]. Hoping to become a dietitian or anything in the health field. I am also planning to minor in Gerontology.
Hi Everyone!! My name is Rupam and I am in my 3rd year at SFU. I am in the Business Faculty and intend to do a double major in marketing and international business. Ideally I would like to go to grad school to pursue a LLB, but becoming a marketing executive also seems very appealing.
Hi Everyone, My name is Allan Cheng, and this is my 4th year at SFU. I am an Economic major. After i graduate, I am hoping to go back to China to start my career or start a local magazine in Vancouver. See you guys all tomorrow!!
Hello everyone and nice meeting all of you. My name is Kaichun and it is my 3rd year at SFU in the faculty of computing science. The thing is I really hate programming, so I have to transfer to other faculty in order to graduate. Educ 100 seems like a good start for me.
Hi everyone. My name is Faye and I am a first year part-time student in the International Studies Program. I am also taking the Sustainable Community Development certificate in conjunction with the IS Program. I am interested in International & Global Education which is why I am taking this intro course. I would like to coordinate my studies to earn a degree and work abroad in teaching and/or sustainable community projects.
Hello everyone! My name is Helen Yu and this is my first year in the faculty of Education. I am hoping to pursue a teaching career in secondary level mathematics.
My name is Evelyn, and I am an English major/Psychology minor student. Upon completion of my degree, I hope to pursue a career as an elementary school teacher. Since I have never taken an education course, I'm excited to take something atypical of my usual workload. I look forward to working with this group! See y'all tomorrow!
My name is Tushar. I started SFU in 2006 with engineering majors but I am not sure if I want to do that now. I have tutor math before. Now my new interest is real estate and software systems.
My name is Richard. I'm a third-year BBA student majoring in Accounting. I hope to obtain my professional designation upon graduation and work in the States.
I'm currently working part-time as a childcare worker at Sparetime Bobolink. We provide before and after-school care to students at Oppenheimer Elementary located in Vancouver.
Hey everyone! I am Amanda! And I am currently in my 3rd year working on completing my bachelor’s degree with a major in Criminology and possibly a minor in Special Education or in Sociology. I would like to purse a career working with inner city youth or children, yet not to sure in what type of setting. Maybe counselling or developing programs for inner city youth and children but not 100% sure yet? See you tomorrow! Amanda

I’m Jocelyn and I’m a transfer student going into my third year at SFU. I already have a culinary degree and I’m currently working towards another degree majoring in Anthropology with a History minor. I eventually want to teach cooking and emphasize the importance of sustainable, local and faire trade ingredients.
It was a pleasure meeting you all the other day. My name is Ivy. I am graduating from SFU after this semester with a degree in the Business Administration. My area of concentration is accounting, which is not the most interesting subject in the world. Upon graduation, I hope to travel to Asia and work in the pet industry, which is completely unrelated to the subject of my study.
Hi everyone. My name is Naoto. I’m in 3rd year of business administration concentrating on finance and entrepreneurship. The career which I pursue is working at travel agency. Actually, I’m currently working at a travel company as a part-time worker. I hope I can get a full time position in this industry when I graduate.
Good Morning Class! My name is Olivera. It was nice to meet you all in class on Tuesday. I am a 3rd year student at SFU majoring in Psychology, and minoring in Sociology. I am looking forward to finishing my BA! I would love to work as either a counselor in a high-school setting or working with disabled children.
I'm Shideh. I'm currently 2nd year at SFU. I'm getting my BGS (Education). I currently work with children with autism, I have been for awhile now. I would like to continue my career and become a consultant for children with special needs.
My name is Deanna and I am entering my last year at SFU. My major is Anthropology and I also completed the Sustainable Community Development Certificate. I have been doing some work around education but am unsure if I will be an educator. I would like to try to pursue a job in community facilitation.
